Job summary

ALK ABELLÓ is expanding its Accounts Payable Team in the European Accounting Center in Kraków, Poland. The role focuses on end-to-end AP processes, including SAP-based invoice processing, payments, and monthly closures, with emphasis on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

The candidate should have 2+ years in AP, strong communication and analytical skills, and fluent Polish and English. The team offers a dynamic, supportive environment with flexible working hours and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master or equivalent education is preferred but not required.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in an SSC environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Analytical skills and problem-solving approach.
• Attention to details and high level of accuracy.
• Well organized, meticulous; focused on customers’ needs and satisfaction.
• Very good Polish and English skills.

Responsibilities

• PO and Non-PO Invoice processing and coding in SAP.
• Payments preparation and processing in SAP and on the bank.
• Open items management on trade and GR/IR accounts.
• Solving queries with vendors and local finance.
• Month End and Year End tasks according to MEC/YEC calendar.
• Preparing Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation according to the checklist.
• Performing Internal Controls and support Audit requests.
• Maintaining up-to-date process documentation.
• Continuous improvement/Standardization/other projects.
