Job summary

Verisk is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in Kraków to lead AP operations across entities, regions, and units. You will drive accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of supplier invoices, expenses, and payments while building a strong control environment.

The role requires 6+ years in AP, 3+ years leadership, ERP experience (Oracle Fusion), advanced Excel, and fluent English. Hybrid work with three days in the office, plus private health insurance and a Multisport card.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, Procure‑to‑Pay, or a related finance function.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing Team Leads, Supervisors, or operational finance team of at least 7 employees.
• Strong accounting knowledge relevant to Accounts Payable, including journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, vendor reconciliations, period‑end cut‑off, balance sheet accounts, expense recognition, and the impact of AP transactions on financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end Accounts Payable and Procure‑to‑Pay processes, financial controls, audit requirements, and indirect tax considerations relevant to AP operations.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Advanced English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, organizational, decision‑making, and problem‑solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Accounts Payable Team Leads, Supervisors, and AP professionals, as applicable to the organizational structure.
• Set clear objectives, priorities, performance expectations, and accountability standards aligned with FSSC goals.
• Build an engaged, inclusive, customer-focused culture that promotes ownership, collaboration, continuous learning, and proactive communication.
• Maintain end-to-end ownership and accountability for Accounts Payable service delivery across the assigned scope.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, employee expenses, vendor payments, payment runs, reconciliations, and month‑end activities.
