A leading staffing and recruiting firm in Islamabad is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage daily financial transactions and support the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have proven bookkeeping experience, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in software such as QuickBooks and MS Office. Join us to ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain our comprehensive financial filing system.
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
Monitor financial transactions and reports.
Process accounts receivable and payable.
Work with the accounting team to prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Maintain a comprehensive financial filing system for our company.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files.
Perform administrative and other tasks as needed to support the accounting department.
Proven bookkeeping experience.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is a plus.
Familiarity with bookkeeping software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
