Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy seeks a fundraising professional to mobilize financial and in-kind resources by building donor relationships and developing compelling proposals to meet organizational targets.
You will maintain donor databases, research funding opportunities, coordinate with stakeholders, and organize events to raise funds and awareness. Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience required.
To mobilize financial and in-kind resources by building donor relationships, identifying funding opportunities, developing proposals, and implementing effective fundraising initiatives to achieve organizational targets.
Major Responsibilities:
1- Maintain and develop a donor database including contact details, areas of interest/objectives, funding and contractual modalities, and formats.
2- Research, approach and negotiate with new funding and old partners for financial support such as grants, in-kind contributions, event sponsorship, pro bono services etc.
3- Research and analyze donor call for funding applications and requests for expression of interest proposals.
4- Developing strategies and setting goals to hit fundraising targets.
5- Ensure continuous follow-up and maintain good liaison with the donors.
6- Prepare proposals, concept papers, estimates, feedback for donors.
7- Arrange visits, briefings, social functions for donors and field staff on need basis.
8- Collect cash, cheques and other instruments from the donors, and submit them to the F&A Department. Also update the Donor Care Section and provide them with details accordingly.
9- Hosting fundraising and awareness creating events such as Fundraising Dinner, Educational walks, Seminars, Concerts, Close circle meetings, etc.
10- Under the Supervision of the team lead, ensure that the fundraising initiatives such as: Taleem Dost, Sadqa box, educate a child box, stalls etc. are being executed as per the plan.
11- Coordinate with Donor Care on a regular basis and keep them abreast of the donor information, if any.
12- Involve volunteers and alumni for executing fundraising and image building activities.
13- Prepare annual/quarterly work plans and reports.
14- Participates in program planning and review meetings to review past achievements and future possibilities.
15- Any other related tasks assigned by respective supervisors.
Qualification:Minimumbachelor's degree in social sciences, mass communication, marketing or related discipline
Experience:Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
