Job summary

Akhuwat is seeking a Deputy Manager to contribute to fundraising and brand promotion in Karachi. You will engage donors, pursue corporate partnerships, and support campaigns aligned with Akhuwat’s interest-free, trust-based model.

You will identify opportunities, prepare compelling proposals, and build lasting relationships with donors and partners while traveling within Sindh as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong English and Urdu communication skills, with ability to present Akhuwat’s impact effectively.
• Experience in fundraising, marketing, corporate relations, or NGO sector preferred.
• Willingness to work from DHA, Karachi and travel within Sindh as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support fundraising strategy execution and pipeline development under senior guidance.
• Identify and pursue corporate, institutional, and high-net-worth opportunities in Karachi.
• Prepare proposals, partnership pitches, and performance updates.
• Build and maintain donor and corporate relationships; represent Akhuwat regionally.
• Contribute to localized marketing campaigns and CRM/data insights.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Contribute to fundraising and brand promotion of Akhuwat’s cause in Karachi through donor outreach, corporate partnerships, campaign support, relationship building, and visibility activities aligned with the organization’s interest-free, trust-based model.

Key Responsibilities

Deputy Manager:

• Support regional fundraising strategy execution and pipeline development under senior guidance.
• Identify and pursue corporate, institutional, and high-net-worth opportunities in Karachi.
• Prepare proposals, partnership pitches, and performance updates.
• Build and maintain donor and corporate relationships; represent Akhuwat at regional events.
• Contribute to localized marketing campaigns and CRM/data insights.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Preferred:

BBA or MBA from Karachi-based HEC-recognized universities.

Experience:

a minimum of 3 Years of experience in fundraising, marketing, corporate relations, business development, or NGO/NPO sector preferred.

• Strong communication skills in English and Urdu; ability to present Akhuwat’s impact effectively.
• Commitment to social justice, poverty alleviation, and Akhuwat’s philosophy of interest-free support and trust.
