Job summary

Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy seeks a fundraising professional to mobilize financial and in-kind resources by building donor relationships and developing compelling proposals to meet organizational targets.

You will maintain donor databases, research funding opportunities, coordinate with stakeholders, and organize events to raise funds and awareness. Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences, mass communication, marketing or related discipline.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant fundraising experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop a donor database including contact details, areas of interest/objectives, funding and contractual modalities, and formats.
• Research, approach and negotiate with new funding and old partners for financial support such as grants, in-kind contributions, event sponsorship, pro bono services etc.
• Research and analyze donor call for funding applications and requests for expression of interest proposals.
• Develop strategies and set goals to hit fundraising targets.
• Ensure continuous follow-up and maintain liaison with donors.
• Prepare proposals, concept papers, estimates, feedback for donors.
• Arrange visits, briefings, social functions for donors and field staff on need basis.
• Collect cash, cheques and other instruments from donors, and submit them to the F&A Department. Update Donor Care Section with details.
• Host fundraising events such as Fundraising Dinner, Educational walks, Seminars, Concerts, Close circle meetings, etc.
• Under supervision, ensure fundraising initiatives are executed as per plan.
• Coordinate with Donor Care on a regular basis and keep them updated on donor information.
• Involve volunteers and alumni for fundraising and image-building activities.
• Prepare annual/quarterly work plans and reports.
• Participate in program planning and review meetings; discuss past achievements and future possibilities.
• Any other related tasks assigned by supervisors.
