Senior Machine Learning Engineer - AI/Agentic System

Job Description

Job Purpose The Fundraising Officer will be responsible for supporting the organization's resource mobilization and fundraising efforts by identifying funding opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with donors and partners, planning fundraising campaigns, managing donor information, and supporting business development initiatives. The position will contribute to securing financial and strategic support for the organization's programs and ensuring sustainable donor engagement.
1. Business Development and Resource Mobilization

• Identify and explore new fundraising and business development opportunities within the NGO, development, corporate.
  
• Conduct research to identify potential donors, funding agencies, corporate partners, foundations, and other resource mobilization opportunities.
  
• Support the development of concept notes, proposals, presentations, and funding applications.
  
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential donors and funding opportunities.
  
• Assist in developing strategies to diversify the organization's funding sources.
  
• Support the development of strategic partnerships with national and international organizations.
  

2. Donor Relationship Management

• Build and maintain professional and long-term relationships with existing and potential donors.
  
• Ensure regular communication and engagement with donors and funding partners.
  
• Coordinate donor meetings, presentations, visits, and engagement sessions.
  
• Ensure appropriate acknowledgment and appreciation of donor contributions.
  

3. Data Management and Strategic Analysis

• Develop and maintain an accurate database of existing and potential donors, partners, funding opportunities, and contributions.
  
• Prepare periodic reports on fundraising performance, donor engagement, funding pipelines, and campaign outcomes.
  
• Analyze trends and identify opportunities for improving fundraising strategies.
  
• Maintain accurate records of donor contributions and commitments.
  
• Use data and insights to support strategic decision-making and resource mobilization planning.
  
• Ensure confidentiality and proper management of donor information.
  

4. Fundraising Planning and Execution

• Assist in developing annual and quarterly fundraising plans in line with organizational objectives.
  
• Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising activities and campaigns.
  
• Support the organization of fundraising events, donor meetings, awareness sessions, and engagement activities..
  
• Prepare activity reports and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns.
  
• Identify challenges and recommend improvements for future fundraising initiatives.
  

5. Outreach and Donor Engagement Campaigns

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase awareness about the organization and its programs.
  
• Support the design and execution of donor acquisition and engagement campaigns.
  
• Utilize appropriate communication channels, including digital platforms, social media, corporate outreach, and events, to engage potential donors.
  
• Develop campaigns highlighting organizational achievements, program impact, and beneficiary stories.
