Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Karachi is seeking an Ocean Freight Executive to manage day-to-day import shipments and related operations, coordinating with internal teams to provide timely updates to customers.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of import documentation experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and familiarity with CW1. You will support freight-forwarding processes and contribute to service excellence in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of import documentation & import operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• CW1 knowledge will be a plus.
• Experience in freight forwarding or shipping line is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships with existing customers.
• Coordinate and liaise with key personnel in other functional areas to provide updates & status to customers.
• Well-versed on Import Documentation.
• Knowledge of consolidation / de-consolidation.
• Knowledge of manifestation & self-manifestation in WebOC/PSW.
• Knowledge of issuing / arranging delivery orders / endorsements.
• Good knowledge of preparation of invoices.
• Collaborate with team to develop or enhance procedures to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Work with team on reviewing and analyzing complaints, handling receivable & payable.
• Ensure all customer inquiries are answered promptly & professionally.
• Knowledge of CW1 will be a plus.

Role & Responsibilities

• Must have knowledge of issuance / arrangement of delivery orders / endorsement.
• Good knowledge of preparation of invoices.
  Collaborate with team to jointly develop new or enhance existing procedures relating to service deliverables to maximize customer satisfaction
  Work with team on reviewing and analyzing complaints, handling receivable & Payable.
  To ensure that all customer inquiries are responded promptly & professionally.
• Knowledge of CW1 will be a plus.

Experience

• Minimum 2- 4 years of import documentation & Import operational experience at freight forwarding or shipping line. Qualification
