Job summary

Nayatel in Punjab, Pakistan, seeks an Engineer to manage FTTH/GPON network deployment, fiber splicing, ONT installation, and triple-play services delivery.

You will supervise field teams, read manufacturer manuals, conduct site surveys of high-rise buildings, and prepare cost estimates for new installations, including Wi-Fi coverage considerations.

BS Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Mechatronics Engineering and strong analytical and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle network deployment/maintenance of FTTH and GPON networks including fiber laying, splicing, testing, ONT installation, router configuration and triple-play delivery (Internet, TV, phone).
• Supervise field teams to ensure KPIs are met.
• Read and understand manufacturer documentation for equipment used in transmission.
• Conduct surveys of high-rise buildings/sites and monitor deployments.
• Prepare cost estimates for new installations and consider Wi‑Fi coverage needs.

Job description

• To handle network deployment/maintenance of FTTH Network & GPON Network which includes Fiber optic cable laying/splicing/testing, ONT installation, router configuration and delivery of triple play services (Internet, cable TV and phone).
• To supervise field team(s) ensuring KPIs are met.
• For reading and understanding manufacturer documentation/ manuals of different equipment used in Transmission.
• Conduct surveys of high-rise buildings, sites and monitor deployment of network.
• Monitor complete installations of FTTH, understanding customer requirements at the time of survey and preparing cost estimate for new installations. Having knowledge of Wi Fi coverage tools will be added advantage.
