Job summary

PTCL Group is seeking a Network Operations professional to manage operation and maintenance of its Transport/Fiber Network, ensuring high availability and QA snag clearance. The role involves O&M across Optical, PTN, MPLS-TP, OTN, and SDH Core networks while ensuring HSE compliance.

The position supports a hybrid work model with emphasis on reliable performance, proactive maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration within a leading ICT service provider in Pakistan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer).
• Experience in O&M of IP/Transport Network.
• Experience in O&M of Fiber Operations.
• Proficient with MS Excel/PowerPoint/Databases/MS Visio/KMZ/GIS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GPON CHI and overall wireline network availability.
• Conduct Transport Network Element health checks and QA snag clearance.
• Ensure HSE compliance and clearance of identified snags.
• Perform preventive maintenance of Transport Network Elements (Optical, PTN, MPLS-TP, OTN, SDH Core).

The role also involves ensuring HSE compliance and conducting preventive maintenance (PMR) of Transport Network Elements, including Optical, PTN, MPLS-TP, OTN, and SDH Core networks.
