Job summary

TS Shipping in Karachi seeks a detail-oriented Logistics Operations & Sales Coordinator to manage day-to-day ocean freight bookings, shipping line documentation, and client communications.

You will coordinate with major shipping lines, handle HBLs and shipping instructions, and liaise with customs brokers and transport providers to ensure smooth container movements to Karachi ports. Strong English, MS Office and shipping portals experience are required.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding or shipping operations in Karachi.
• Strong knowledge of sea freight documentation (HBL, MBL, CRO, Gate-in).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and web portals of shipping lines.
• Ocean freight, shipping documentation, HBL, customer service, Microsoft Excel, English communication, coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with major shipping lines for rate requests, vessel schedules, and booking confirmations.
• Manage documentation, including issuing House Bills of Lading (HBL), pre-advices, and shipping instructions.
• Liaise with outsourced customs brokers and transport providers for smooth container movements to Karachi ports (KICT/QICT).
• Provide daily tracking updates to clients and maintain excellent customer relationship management.
• Assist in sending weekly freight rate circulars to potential exporters/importers in Karachi.
