Job summary

Telerelation is seeking a motivated IT Support Engineer to join our team as a full-time resource. You will provide IT support, manage business systems and assets, and contribute to automation initiatives. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, strong scripting skills, and experience with Python-based automation.

The role requires working onsite in Islamabad from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with opportunities to optimize processes and improve operational efficiency across our tech stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT support, technical support, or systems administration.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, cloud platforms, ERP systems, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Jira/YouTrack, and security tools.
• Ability to work onsite in Islamabad from 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM.

Responsibilities

The role will be responsible for providing IT support, managing business systems and IT assets, supporting automation and development initiatives, and ensuring the reliability and security of day-to-day technical operations.

The ideal candidate will have2+ years of relevant experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency inPython scripting and automation. This role requires a proactive and analytical individual who can work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams and continuously identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain business and IT systems, includingGoogle Cloud, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Apps Script, and customized ERP systems.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and support across hardware, software, networking, security, and system infrastructure.
• Diagnose technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective and timely solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and improvePython-based automation scripts to streamline workflows and increase operational efficiency.
• Support automation and development-related tasks as required by the business.
• Monitor system health, security risks, access, and data integrity while following cybersecurity best practices.
• Manage and maintain IT assets, including tracking, allocation, utilization, and upgrade requirements.
• Coordinate with technical and non-technical teams to resolve IT issues and ensure uninterrupted business operations.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, workflows, and operational processes.
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements to systems, processes, security, and overall IT operations.
• Stay updated with relevant technologies, tools, and industry practices and evaluate opportunities for improved efficiency and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT support, technical support, systems administration, or a related technical role.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation.
• Working knowledge ofWindows Server, cloud platforms, ERP systems, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Jira, YouTrack, and network/security tools.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, system administration, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong ownership and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Ability to workonsite in Islamabad from 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud and Google Apps Script.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
• Exposure to network security tools.
• Experience working with ERP or business management systems.
• Experience with IT asset management and documentation.
