Qualifications

Role Description

The Import Export Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Karāchi, responsible for overseeing daily import and export operations. This role coordinates shipments, manages documentation, and ensures compliance with international trade regulations and company policies. The supervisor monitors cargo movements, tracks deliveries using IT systems, and works closely with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to resolve operational issues. This position also focuses on maintaining high levels of customer service, handling inquiries, and providing timely updates to clients on shipment status. The Import Export Supervisor supports continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency, minimize delays, and uphold quality standards in all logistics activities.

• Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in an import-export environment.
• Proficiency in using logistics and tracking IT systems, along with strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional regional language skills are an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field is preferred.
