Job summary

Expeditors in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking an Air Import Supervisor to lead the air import product line across Operations, Finance, Sales, People, Systems and Culture, ensuring policy compliance while driving efficiency and growth. You will manage quotations, charges, and pricing, mentor the team, support new business updates, and collaborate with Trade Compliance to meet audits and budgets.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of global logistics and air import operations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word for reporting and analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Industry-specific knowledge of air import processes.
• IATA/IFATA introductory course is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review daily quotations to ensure accuracy and minimize branch losses.
• Verify local charges and agreement quotes to reduce potential financial risks.
• Maintain strong knowledge of air import products, including Breakbulk, Gateway, and Pricing.
• Lead and participate in huddles and monthly meetings to share market intelligence and delegate tasks effectively.
• Support the transition of new business updates into existing operations.
• Drive department revenue growth in alignment with district budget targets and management expectations.
• Prepare and review internal financial reports to ensure accurate and transparent accounting.
• Collaborate with the Trade Compliance Manager to maintain compliance and support audits and trainings.
• Identify and implement system enhancements and process improvements within the department.
• Assist the Manager with EPEs and goal-setting initiatives under the 3+1 Initiative.
• Monitor and support team development and performance.

As an Air Import Supervisor , you will play a key role in developing and managing the air import product in the marketplace.
