Job summary

Wamo Labs is seeking a Recruitment Intern to join the Talent Acquisition team. You will gain hands-on exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to coordinating interviews and supporting employer branding initiatives.

You will work closely with experienced recruiters who will mentor you through real-world hiring challenges, building a foundation for a career in human resources or talent acquisition. This internship offers valuable exposure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or final year students in HR, Business Admin, Psychology, or related field.
• Familiarity with recruitment lifecycle and candidate sourcing.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic understanding of recruitment processes and HR functions.
• Proficiency with MS Office / Google Workspace.
• Experience with LinkedIn, job portals, and social media is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels.
• Screen resumes and applications against job requirements.
• Conduct initial phone/video screening to assess fit.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Maintain the ATS with accurate candidate data.
• Draft and post job advertisements on job boards/social media.
• Support employer branding activities (career page updates, social posts).
• Assist in preparing offer letters, onboarding documents, and background checks.

About the role

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Recruitment Intern to join Wamo Labs Talent Acquisition team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the complete recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and supporting employer branding initiatives. It's an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition, working closely with experienced recruiters who will mentor you through real-world hiring challenges.

What you'll do

• Assist in sourcing candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, and other channels


• Screen resumes and applications against job requirements


• Conduct initial phone/video screening calls to assess candidate fit


• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers


• Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate candidate data


• Draft and post job advertisements on various job boards and social media platforms


• Support employer branding activities (career page updates, social media posts, campus drives)


• Assist in preparing offer letters, onboarding documents, and background verification coordination


• Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, candidate pipeline status)


• Provide a positive candidate experience by ensuring timely communication and follow-ups


• Support senior recruiters with market mapping, talent research, and competitor benchmarking


• Assist with campus recruitment drives and job fairs, where applicable

What we're looking for

• Fresh graduates or Final year students of a degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly


• Basic understanding of recruitment processes and HR functions (preferred, not mandatory)


• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, PowerPoint/Slides)


• Familiarity with LinkedIn, job portals (Indeed, Naukri, etc.), and social media platforms


• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail


• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment


• A proactive, "can-do" attitude with eagerness to learn


• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential candidate/company data
