Job summary

Power Cement Ltd is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead sustainability initiatives and drive the company’s ESG strategy. You will define targets, monitor performance, and develop business cases for decarbonization across plants and corporate functions.

You will provide data-driven insights to senior management, track KPIs and ensure CBAM-aligned GHG accounting and reporting, while coordinating with HSE, HR, and Legal for compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability or related discipline.
• 5–7 years in ESG or sustainability-focused roles.
• Hands-on experience with GHG Protocols, emission inventories and reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive sustainability initiatives aligned with ESG strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Define and monitor company-wide ESG targets and performance benchmarks.
• Lead decarbonization and energy efficiency initiatives with business cases.
• Advise senior management with data-driven ESG insights and scenario analysis.
• Track and report ESG KPIs and sustainability compliance.
• GHG accounting following CBAM protocols and manage carbon credit documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GHG standards and maintain inventories.
• Collaborate with HSE, HR, and Legal to monitor corporate compliance.
• Prepare feasibility notes and payback models for innovation projects.
