Job summary

Descon Engineering Limited's Industrial Services Division seeks an ESG Coordinator to support planning, execution and reporting of ESG initiatives. You will coordinate data collection, ensure regulatory alignment and contribute to client ESG/HSE requirements and ISO/GRI/IFC frameworks.

The role involves maintaining audit-ready records, supporting ESG reporting, and collaborating with HSE teams, regulators and external auditors across project sites and engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Master's degree or postgraduate qualification in Sustainability, Environmental Management, QHSE, or related field preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate and validate ESG data from project sites and functions on a defined reporting cycle.
• Support preparation of periodic ESG/sustainability reports and dashboards for management review and disclosures (GRI, IFRS S1/S2).
• Maintain audit-ready ESG records in line with IMS.
• Coordinate with HSE teams to monitor compliance against ISO 9001/14001/45001 and client codes of conduct.
• Assist in organising ESG/HSE awareness sessions and training for site personnel.
• Support supplier ESG screening and due-diligence for the supply chain.
• Contribute to CSR activities associated with Industrial Services projects and communities.
