Job summary

Bestway Cement Limited is seeking an experienced professional to assist the HOD Production in achieving clinker and cement production targets through optimized operations at our Chakwal plant. The role emphasizes safety, SOP adherence, and cost-efficient production.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering with 10–12 years of relevant experience, and demonstrates leadership, strategic thinking, and staff development capabilities to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from an HEC recognized University.
• Minimum 10 to 12 years of relevant experience.
• Core Competencies: Level 2 - Professionalism, Communication, Customer-Driven, Analytical Thinking, Planning & Achievement Focus.
• Leadership Competencies: Level 2 - Strategic Thinking, leading from the front, Developing People.

Responsibilities

• Achieve clinker and cement production targets.
• Ensure health & safety compliance and staff training.
• Implement SOPs, standards, advisories, and required documentation.
• Optimize production efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations.
• Review process performance and implement improvement actions.
• Plan maintenance and shutdowns to minimize downtime.
• Ensure availability of required production resources.
• Monitor production KPIs, reports, budgets, and costs.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and company standards.
• Maintain proper housekeeping across plant areas.
• Coach and guide team members.
• Ensure stock reconciliation and monthly stock take.
• Ensure proper implementation of SAP and ESSP.
• Support operational problem-solving and daily meetings.
