Job summary

Bestway is seeking a Sr. Deputy Manager Production in Pakistan to drive clinker and cement output while maintaining strict health, safety and environmental standards. The role focuses on optimizing operations, coordinating with related departments and ensuring availability of essential resources.

The ideal candidate holds a B.E. in Chemical Engineering with 10–12 years of relevant experience and will lead cost-control initiatives, reviews, and CAPEX/OPEX input for budgets within the production

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
10–12 years of relevant experience.
Compliance with HSE policy and standards.

Responsibilities

Achieve clinker and cement production targets according to business strategy.
Ensure implementation of health, safety and HSE standards within the department.
Coordinate with other departments regarding supply, demand, production issues and operational requirements.
Review maintenance and equipment plans to improve process performance.
Monitor production costs and implement cost-reduction plans.
Plan process shutdowns and maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
Ensure availability of raw materials, fuel, spare parts and other production resources.
