Responsibilities

## Sr. Deputy Manager ProductionFull Job Details#### Job Description### Position PurposeTo assist the HOD Production in achieving clinker and cement production targets through optimized operations while ensuring safe and cost-effective production.### Job Responsibilities* Achieve clinker and cement production targets according to business strategy.* Ensure implementation of health, safety and HSE standards within the department.* Conduct risk-based safety training for staff.* Implement SOPs, standards, advisories, risk assessments and work permits.* Maintain proper housekeeping across plant operation areas, including CCR.* Optimize production efficiency, product quality and operational costs.* Coordinate with other departments regarding supply, demand, production issues and operational requirements.* Review maintenance and equipment plans to improve process performance.* Analyze production reports and identify opportunities for problem-solving and improvement.* Monitor production costs and implement cost-reduction plans.* Participate in daily staff meetings and address operational issues.* Support area in-charges in operational decision-making.* Plan process shutdowns and maintenance activities to minimize downtime.* Ensure availability of raw materials, fuel, spare parts and other production resources.* Monitor production targets and departmental action plans.* Ensure compliance with company policies, code of conduct and discipline standards.* Provide input for CAPEX and OPEX budgets and monitor actual spending against approved budgets.* Review daily production reports and ensure accuracy of operational data.* Ensure compliance with government and Bestway environmental standards.* Coach and develop team members.* Conduct monthly stock reconciliation for clinker, cement, coal, furnace oil, gypsum, pozzolana, grinding media, refractory materials and khaka.* Lead handing/taking-over activities after shutdown completion.* Coordinate planned inspections with the preventive maintenance team.* Ensure proper implementation of SAP within the production department.* Generate and close required notifications and work orders.* Manage SAP DPR-related tasks, including BOM, process orders, dispatch booking and KWH MIGO.* Effectively utilize the ESSP (Employee Self-Service Portal) module.### Education & Experience* **Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering** from an HEC-recognized university.* **10–12 years of relevant experience.**### Specific Requirements**Core Competencies:** Professionalism, Communication, Customer-Driven, Analytical Thinking, Planning & Achievement Focus. **Leadership Competencies:** Strategic Thinking, Leading from the Front, Developing People.* Compliance with HSE policy and standards.
