Job summary

Leading Edge in Karachi, Pakistan is seeking a Business Development Manager for the construction sector to identify opportunities, build relationships with developers, contractors, architects, and consultants, and convert leads into long-term partnerships.

The role requires strong presentation skills, ability to leverage marketing materials, and collaboration with sales, estimation, engineering, and finance to win projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development/sales in construction or EPC.
• Existing relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, and architects in PK market preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office/PowerPoint and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with builders, contractors, developers, PMC firms, architects, and government bodies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers; conduct site visits, meetings, and follow-ups.
• Lead RFP/RFQ responses, prepare technical-commercial proposals, and present solutions using company marketing materials.
• Deliver compelling presentations and product demos to C-level stakeholders, consultants, and procurement teams.
• Work with marketing to develop brochures, case studies, spec sheets, and project portfolios; ensure collateral is current.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, upcoming projects, and government infrastructure plans; feed insights back to product and strategy teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and reporting on KPIs like leads, conversion rate, and revenue.
• Liaise with estimation, engineering, operations, and finance to ensure smooth project handover and client satisfaction.
