This is an exciting entry-to-mid-level role designed for a self-starter with 1-2 years of experience in IT sales or business development. You will work closely with senior leadership to identify, engage, and convert prospects in international territories. You will receive dedicated mentorship, hands-on training in global sales methodologies, and the opportunity to develop a strong foundation in cross-border B2B tech sales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Research & Lead Generation
- Assist in researching international markets (US/UK/EU/APAC) to identify potential client companies, key decision-makers, and industry trends.
- Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, and Apollo.io to build and maintain a healthy list of target accounts.
- Support senior team members in preparing market entry strategies and territory plans.
2. Outbound Prospecting & Outreach
- Execute daily outbound activities including cold calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn connection requests to generate new business opportunities.
- Qualify inbound leads and route qualified opportunities to senior sales representatives.
- Schedule discovery calls and meetings for the senior sales team with CTOs, CIOs, and IT Heads.
3. Client Engagement Support
- Participate in client meetings (virtually or in-person) to learn the sales process and understand client pain points.
- Assist in preparing proposals, capability decks, and case study presentations tailored to international clients.
- Follow up with prospects to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Track and report weekly KPIs (calls made, emails sent, meetings booked, pipeline value).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on campaign effectiveness in target regions.
- Stay updated on IT industry trends, competitor offerings, and global business etiquette.
- Actively participate in sales training, product knowledge sessions, and certification programs provided by the company.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience
- 1-2 years of professional experience in Business Development, Inside Sales, or Lead Generation, preferably within the IT industry (IT services, SaaS, software development, or technology consulting).
- Prior exposure to international clients (US, UK, Europe, or Australia) is a strong advantage, even if through internships or assistant-level roles.
- Freshers with relevant internship experience in IT sales may also be considered.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills; ability to articulate ideas clearly and confidently.
