• Strong shipment tracking, follow-up, recordkeeping, and deadline-management skills.
• Working knowledge of import compliance procedures and attention to product-specific documentation for chemical shipments.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and routine office software for tracking orders, costs, and reports.
• Clear written and verbal communication, problem-solving, accuracy, and effective coordination across procurement, warehouse, and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with import orders from purchase confirmation through shipment, clearance, and delivery.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers and freight forwarders on shipping schedules, documents, and shipment updates.
• Prepare and review import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates, for completeness and consistency.
• Work with customs agents and relevant internal contacts to support clearance requirements and resolve documentation or delivery issues.
• Track shipments, delivery timelines, freight costs, and order status; maintain accurate import records and reports.
• Support compliance with applicable import procedures and requirements for chemical products, escalating risks or delays promptly.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and accounts teams to align deliveries, inventory planning, and payment documentation.
