Job summary

Sapphire Finishing Mills in Lahore is seeking a logistics/ import specialist to manage LC, supplier payments, and shipment documentation. The role focuses on ensuring accurate landed costs and smooth clearance of goods through Gulberg corporate office.

The ideal candidate holds an MBA in Supply Chain with 1–2 years of related experience and will coordinate with suppliers and customs to optimize cost and efficiency. Office location is Lahore, Pakistan.

Qualifications

• MBA in Supply Chain or equivalent with focus on procurement and logistics.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in import/export and order processing.
• Proficient in LC, PO, shipping documents, landed cost calculations and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Process advanced payments, open accounts and letters of credit.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs).
• Scrutinize shipping documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Arrange shipment clearance, cash or EFS basis as applicable.
• Calculate import duties and landed cost according to customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible to Proceed Advance Payment, Open account and Letter of credit.
• Making of (Po's) purchase order.
• Scrutiny of shipping documents.
• Arrange clearance of shipments in cash or EFS basis.
• Calculate Import duties based on customs regulations and documentation to determine the landed cost.
• Responsible for preparing the final landed cost of imported goods.
