POSITION TITLE: SPECIALIST – FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYTICS
LOCATION: Cebu, Philippines
Summary Description:
Reporting to the Lead of Financial Planning & Analysis, this role is an instrumental part of the group FP&A team for Dover Business Services. Responsible for supporting all aspects of the FP&A cycle including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and ad hoc analysis. Works closely with leadership across Dover Operating Companies (OpCos) to consolidate information, analyze data, and make recommendation based on the results. Regularly supports the OpCO executive teams, including the CFO and Controller levels. Ideal candidate will maintain a positive attitude toward change and be eager to continually develop and learn.
• Support the consolidation of financial budgets, forecasts, and management reporting
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis in areas such as scenario planning, ROI analyses, profitability, cost reduction, backlog, and growth opportunities as needed
• Support the FP&A Lead/Manager in partnering with OpCo controllers and FP&A teams to drive consistency and best practices
• Develop and maintain financial models & templates in accordance with Dover requirements
• Manage financials model and reporting utilizing the consolidated reporting system
• Assist FP&A Lead/Manager with preparing the closing and forecast presentations for company CFO/Controller reviews
• Continually look for ways to improve and simplify the financial consolidation process while ensuring a high degree of accuracy and leveraging systems capabilities
• Support the management of corporate SG&A expense and make recommendations to reduce cost
• Identify areas of profitability improvement through detailed analysis by customer, product line, etc.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management or related field preferred
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in financial planning and analysis
• Exceptional computer skills and aptitude including being an expert with consolidated reporting software, such as Khalix or Hyperion
• Demonstrates sound analytical depth and technical capability in finance and/or accounting methods
• Successfully demonstrated ability to evaluate and analyze business opportunities and present findings in a logical way to all levels of an organization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
• Employee must be an experienced user of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), budgeting, financial reporting and general ledger software. Employee must also be willing and capable of learning new systems and tools
• PowerBI experience is a plus
• Exceptional organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment

• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
