Job summary

Citco is seeking a senior accounting professional for its Real Estate team in the Alabang area. You will review complex fund reporting, oversee capital activity, and manage partner allocations while maintaining audit readiness.

Strong leadership and accounting system experience are essential. The role requires 8+ years in financial services accounting (Real Estate/Asset Management), a professional designation, and proficiency in IFRS/US GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in accounting/finance/economics.
• Professional accounting designation required.
• 8+ years of accounting experience in financial services (Real Estate / Asset Management / Fund Administration).
• 6+ years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP is an added advantage.
• Experience with GAAP/IFRS and real estate/private equity accounting systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Willing to work at our Alabang office (Filinvest City).

Responsibilities

• Review Quarterly/Monthly reports and working papers (Cash, Position, reconciliations, accruals).
• Review capital activity for funds (Capital Call and Distributions).
• Review partner allocations and fees (Waterfall, Clawback).
• Prepare trial balances, financial statements, footnotes, and partner statements.
• Manage client relationships, inquiries, and meetings with senior management.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Liaise with clients on accounting issues and developments.
• Oversee implementation of fund structures on accounting systems.
