Job summary

Citco is seeking a Senior Real Estate Accountant in Manila to oversee deliverables, client liaison, and staff coaching within our Alabang office. The role requires CPA progress, 4+ years in real estate accounting, and strong IFRS/US GAAP knowledge.

Ideal candidates will manage complex ledgers, review financial statements, and coordinate with auditors and investors, ensuring timely deadlines and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master level degree in accounting
• Professional accounting designation is preferred
• Designated accountant or working towards CPA
• 4+ years of public/private real estate accounting work experience
• 2+ years of supervising/coaching staff
• Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
• Experience in Limited Partnership accounting a plus
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written)
• Team player with ability to meet deadlines
• Liaise with property management companies
• Knowledge of real estate multi-family and commercial real estate accounting
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Word/PowerPoint
• Knowledge of MRI, Yardi, or Investran is a plus
• Willing to work at Alabang office location

Responsibilities

• Complete and review deliverables in line with SLAs with clients
• Act as central point of contact for clients
• Assist Operations Manager in allocation of work and process improvements
• Support staff with workload and more complex deliverables
• Break resolution for open items with clients
• Ensure client deadlines are met
• Support conversion of new clients and existing migrations
• Liaise with auditors, legal counsel and investors
• Review quarterly/monthly reports and working papers
• Review capital activity for funds (Capital Call and Distributions)
• Review partner allocations and related fees, waterfall and clawback calculations
• Prepare financial statements and footnotes
