Job summary

Citco is recruiting for a senior fund accounting professional to lead, review and coordinate complex real estate fund reporting. You will oversee capital activity, partner allocations, and financial statements, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring audit readiness.

The role requires 8+ years of accounting in financial services with Real Estate/Private Equity focus, and staff leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master level degree (in accounting, finance, economics).
Professional accounting designation required.
Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly Real Estate, Asset Management or Fund Administration.
Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 6+ years.
Knowledge of IFRS and / or USGAAP is an added advantage.
Experienced in reviewing general ledger and financial statements.
Knowledge and experience in GAAP and IFRS required.
Experience with fair value reporting for real estate investments and debt obligations.
Knowledge of Real Estate & Private Equity Funds Accounting.
Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
You have project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task.
Knowledge and experience in real estate/private equity accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, Investran, etc.) is preferred.
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel).
Amenable to work and be assigned in our Alabang office (Filinvest 2 Bldg., Northgate Cyber Zone, Filinvest City, Alabang Muntinlupa City).

Responsibilities

Review Quarterly/Monthly reports and working papers, including Cash, Reconciliations, and Dividend/Interest accruals.
Review capital activity pertaining to the funds (Capital Call and Distribution processing).
Review Limited Partner and General partner allocations; calculations and schedules.
Assist with balance sheets, financial statements, and partner capital statements.
Maintain client relationships, inquiries and meetings.
Interact with Senior Management and clients.
Review procedures and recommend solutions to improve efficiencies.
Ensure adherence to audit standards and coordinate external audits.
Liaise with clients on accounting and administrative issues and developments.
Provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients.
Review client partnership agreements, PPMs and other materials.
Lead implementation of fund structures onto accounting systems.
Prepare client service plans including annual budgets.
Coordinate with property management companies.
Review team work and provide feedback for timely delivery and quality.
Monitor team performance and profitability to meet SLAs and targets.
Plan resources, participate in recruitment, and lead/develop team members.
Establish plans for new client setup and transitions.
Keep Senior Management informed of material issues affecting deliverables.
Process ad hoc reports and operation metrics as required.
Implement training initiatives.
