Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education is advantageous but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills and empathy when interacting with customers.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including typing and familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar applications.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with professionalism and courtesy, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Manage non-voice communications including email, live chat, and social media messages, responding within established timeframes
• Document customer interactions accurately in the company's systems, maintaining detailed and organised records
• Process customer requests such as orders, cancellations, returns, and account updates according to company procedures
• Provide product or service information and recommendations based on customer needs
• Troubleshoot common technical issues and elevate complex problems to appropriate departments
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanour whilst handling difficult or upset customers
• Meet or exceed performance targets including call handling time, customer satisfaction scores, and quality metrics
• Participate in training sessions and comply with company policies and guidelines
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve service delivery and customer experience
