Qualifications

• Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent.
• Strong written communication for SMS, email, and patient messages.
• Experience as Virtual Medical Assistant or similar healthcare support role preferred.
• Must own a Mac OS device (MacBook, iMac, or Mac mini).
• Reliable high-speed wired internet (LAN).

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound patient calls professionally and promptly.
• Respond to patient texts, voicemails, emails, and fax-related messages.
• Schedule new patient appointments and collect intake information.
• Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments in MacPractice.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling notes.
• Coordinate with in-office staff to keep the provider schedule full and organized.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
