The role focuses on health monitoring, disease prevention, vaccination, biosecurity, and implementing effective poultry health programs, with training opportunities and a clear path toward farm management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Licensed Veterinarian.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in poultry production, veterinary practice, or farm operations is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in poultry health, vaccination programs, disease prevention, biosecurity, animal welfare, and flock management.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and decision making skills, with willingness to work in a field-based farm environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor flock health, mortality, growth, production performance, and overall bird welfare, and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Develop and implement vaccination, disease prevention, medication, and biosecurity programs in coordination with Farm Operations.
• Conduct regular farm visits, health assessments, diagnostic investigations, and evaluation of flock performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Farm Managers, Supervisors, and farm personnel on poultry health and management practices.
• Prepare and review farm health and performance reports, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actions to optimize flock performance and farm productivity.
