Job summary

OPENLANE, a global digital marketplace for used vehicles, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to promote pre-owned cars to customers through calls, emails, and virtual demos. You will handle inquiries, present vehicle features, and guide buyers through the sales process.

Candidates should have strong communication, at least 5 years in customer service with sales experience, knowledge of automotive products, and familiarity with Salesforce, Five9, and Zoom. A college diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive sales, especially used cars.
• A college diploma or equivalent experience is required.
• Sales or marketing training is a plus.
• At least 5 years in customer service with a sales background.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of automotive features and industry trends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Five9 and Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via calls, emails, and other channels and provide vehicle information.
• Lead customers through the sales process and coordinate with finance and inventory teams.
• Stay updated on vehicle features and benefits, and educate customers accordingly.
• Negotiate terms and close sales, completing required paperwork.
• Build lasting relationships and follow up post-sale to ensure satisfaction.
