Job summary

iSupport Worldwide seeks a U.S. Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll across 19+ states from its base in Pasig, Philippines. You will coordinate with an outsourced provider and own tax compliance, processing, and controls.

Responsibilities include supervising payroll staff, managing system configuration in OneHCM/UKG Ready, quarter-end close, and process improvements. Strong English skills and CPP/FPC are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of U.S. payroll experience.
• Experience supervising or leading payroll staff, including training and workload allocation.
• Expert knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local payroll taxes, including reciprocity and SUI.
• Experience with payroll-to-GL reconciliations and audit readiness.
• Advanced Excel, reconciliation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication abilities.
• Willingness to work 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pacific Time; fixed schedule.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of all payrolls; set calendar and act as final reviewer.
• Supervise, coach, and review payroll staff; set standards and provide onboarding.
• Enforce the established approval workflow and maintain audit trails.
• Oversee employee changes, time records, earnings, deductions, and benefits; manage reconciliations.
• Lead multi-state tax compliance across 19+ states and manage outsourced provider relationships.
• Monitor wage and hour rules; flag compliance risks to HR and leadership.
• Ensure Davis‑Bacon compliance and certified payroll reporting; prepare required submissions.
• Lead new-state payroll setup and registrations; validate state tax accounts.
• Own payroll system configuration in OneHCM/UKG Ready; maintain documentation.
• Lead quarter-end and year-end close; W‑2 review and corrections.
• Lead payroll integrations for acquisitions; develop repeatable playbook.
• Produce payroll reports and analytics; support accruals and audits.
• Document SOPs and identify automation opportunities; reduce manual work.
• Serve as escalation point for branches, HR, finance and employees.
