Job summary

Bill Gosling Outsourcing is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our technology team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This full-time role focuses on managing and maintaining critical IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security of our systems.

You will manage servers, networks, access controls, backups, and security practices, collaborating with IT staff to support business continuity and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of Systems Administrator or similar IT infrastructure support experience.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configuration knowledge.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and user provisioning.
• Understanding of cybersecurity and system hardening basics.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT by handling tickets related to domain, server, system and backup architecture.
• Monitor and optimize system performance on physical/virtual hosts and data stores.
• Ensure system uptime through proactive maintenance and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot server and virtual system issues as needed.
• Support network connectivity for servers and devices.
• Uphold core values and participate in other duties as assigned.

About the role

Bill Gosling Outsourcing is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our growing technology team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering a significant opportunity to manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure systems whilst ensuring optimal operational performance across our organisation. As a Systems Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our business continuity by managing network systems, servers, and user access controls that underpin our daily operations. This position is strategically important to our IT department, as it directly impacts the reliability, security, and efficiency of our technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the IT Support Department by working on IT Tickets in relation to Domain, Server, System and Back up Architecture

• Monitor, Configure and Adjust system performance in relation to Physical/Virtual Hosts, Processors, Memory, Data Stores

• Monitor system performance and activity for scaling and preventative maintenance in order to ensure system uptime

• Check, probe, and solve computer, server and virtual system/software problems as required

• Develop new data description specifications as required

• Support network connectivity issues in relation to servers, network devices and other IT Architecture

• Champion core values and other company programs

• Other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure support role for a minimum of 2-3 years

• Strong knowledge of server operating systems including Windows Server and/or Linux administration

• Proficiency in network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configuration

• Experience with Active Directory management and user provisioning

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices for system hardening

• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions and procedures

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team environment

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

• CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Associate, or similar relevant certification is desirable

• Experience with virtualization technologies (such as VMware or Hyper-V) is a plus
