About the role
The IT Supervisor & Network Administrator is responsible for overseeing the organization's end-to-end IT infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of network, server, cloud, and enterprise communication systems within a 24/7 BPO environment. The role combines technical leadership and hands‑on execution across network administration, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure operations.
This position leads and mentors a team of IT Helpdesk Officers supporting round‑the‑clock operations, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and escalations. In addition, the role provides advanced technical support for complex infrastructure issues, including network, server, cloud, VoIP, and remote access systems.
The IT Supervisor & Network Administrator works closely with IT leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to design, implement, and continuously improve infrastructure solutions. The role plays a key part in maintaining high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and security compliance across both on‑premise and cloud environments, while ensuring adherence to the organization's Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ISO 27001 standards. This includes supporting audit requirements, enforcing security policies, and contributing to continuous improvement of information security controls.
What you will do
- Ensure high availability and stability of server, network, and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor network performance, analyze traffic, and implement capacity planning for scalability and optimization
- Provide second-level and escalation support for network, system, and infrastructure issues
- Maintain, configure, and secure network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points
- Administer and secure enterprise firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco, or equivalent platforms)
- Manage LAN/WAN environments and ensure proper network segmentation (VLANs, routing, QoS)
- Oversee VoIP and PBX systems including 3CX, SIP-based systems, and cloud telephony platforms
- Support remote access infrastructure including Citrix, Secure RDP, VPN, and endpoint access solutions
- Administer Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related core services
- Manage cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365 / Entra ID
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, systems engineering, or related technical support roles
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including network administration, systems management, server operations, and cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Hands‑on experience in enterprise networking, including switching, routing, VLAN configuration, subnetting, VPN setup, and firewall administration
- Solid understanding of server administration and maintenance in both Windows Server and/or Linux environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file services
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including hybrid cloud environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex, multi‑layered infrastructure and network issues under pressure
- Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced BPO environments with 24/7 operations, high availability requirements, and strict SLA adherence
- Prior experience in supervising or mentoring junior IT staff or technical support teams is an advantage
- Proven experience managing or supporting enterprise‑grade IT environments, preferably within BPO, call center, or multi‑site operational setups
