Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a Hotel Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations, ensure guest service excellence, and achieve revenue and profitability targets while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
You will lead and coach hotel departments, manage staffing, monitor performance and guest feedback, and coordinate with senior management to ensure all areas work together to meet business targets and company standards.
The Hotel Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day management and performance of the assigned hotel. The role ensures that the property delivers excellent guest service, achieves revenue and profitability targets, maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency, and develops a disciplined and service-oriented hotel team. The Hotel Manager serves as the overall person-in-charge of the hotel and ensures that all departments work together to meet business targets and company standards.
Oversee the overall daily operations of the hotel, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance/Engineering, Security, and other operational areas
Ensure smooth coordination among all hotel departments and shifts
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure rooms, facilities, equipment, and public areas are maintained according to company standards
Ensure operational concerns and guest-related issues are addressed promptly
Implement and consistently enforce company policies, operating procedures, and service standards
Ensure proper staffing and deployment based on hotel occupancy and operational requirements
Ensure guests receive consistent, courteous, efficient, and professional service
Monitor guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery cases
Monitor the hotel's daily, weekly, and monthly business performance and ensure achievement of assigned revenue, occupancy, sales, and profitability targets
Lead, coach, and supervise hotel employees and department/team heads
Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in hotel or hospitality operations, with significant experience in a managerial capacity
Experience managing multiple hotel operational functions
Demonstrated experience in people management, guest relations, business performance, and hotel operations
Leadership and people management skills with ability to provide clear direction and develop employees
Guest orientation with understanding of guest needs and ability to ensure consistently high service standards
Business acumen and understanding of how occupancy, pricing, revenue, costs, and operational decisions affect hotel profitability
Problem solving and decision making skills to respond quickly to operational and guest-related concerns
Operational excellence with ability to maintain consistent standards for cleanliness, service, safety, efficiency, and property condition
Effective communication and collaboration skills with employees, guests, senior management, and support departments
Assigned primarily to the hotel/property
Requires flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, evenings, and shifting schedules depending on operational requirements
Must be available to respond to significant hotel emergencies or operational concerns
Requires regular inspection and movement throughout guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and hotel facilities
