Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day customer service activities for UAE shipments (import/export).
• Coordinate with origin offices, carriers, and overseas agents regarding shipment status.
• Provide shipment updates, schedules, and delay notifications to customers.
• Monitor cargo movement from origin to final destination.
• Review shipping documents such as: Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Instructions.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Follow up with internal departments (operations, documentation, billing) to ensure smooth shipment handling.
• Ensure all customer SOPs and requirements are followed.
• Assist in resolving issues such as rollover, delays, customs clearance concerns, or documentation discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of shipment status in the company system.
• Support the sales and operations teams when needed.
