About the Role

Are you passionate about travel and delivering exceptional customer service? Do you have experience using GDS platforms such as Sabre and Galileo, along with knowledge of NDC (New Distribution Capability)?

Reliable BPO Services is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our growing team. You will support our Australian travel industry clients by managing travel bookings, handling complex itineraries, and ensuring a smooth and efficient booking experience.

We are looking for someone with excellent English communication skills, strong ticketing knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a professional, hybrid team environment that values collaboration, flexibility, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and modify domestic and international flight bookings using GDS platforms.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Sabre and/or Galileo reservation systems.

• Apply knowledge of NDC bookings and airline distribution channels.

• Manage complex itineraries, including multi-sector and multi-destination bookings.

• Proficiently process airline ticketing, refunds, reissues, revalidations, and cancellations.

• Handle fare pricing, ticket exchanges, and booking amendments in accordance with airline rules and fare conditions.

• Respond to client requests promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of accuracy and service.

• Troubleshoot booking and ticketing issues and liaise with airlines or suppliers when required.

• Maintain accurate booking records and follow established procedures and quality standards.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide reliable support to our Australian clients.

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Travel Consultant, Travel Reservations Consultant, or similar role.

• Hands-on experience with Sabre and/or Galileo GDS.

• Working knowledge of NDC bookings and airline distribution systems.

• Proficient in airline ticketing, refunds, reissues, revalidations, and cancellations.

• Strong understanding of airline fare rules and ticketing procedures.

• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple requests and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Customer-focused, proactive, and willing to learn new systems and processes.

• A positive team player who can work independently when required.
