You will research and book flights, hotels, tours, and other services using industry-standard systems, prepare itineraries and visas, manage bookings and client records, and upsell travel packages to meet revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Experience as Travel Consultant or similar travel role.

Gladex Travel and Tours Corp. is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant with BPO experience to join our dynamic team in Binondo, Manila City. This is a full-time position where you will be at the heart of our travel operations, providing expert advice and comprehensive travel solutions to our valued clients. As a Travel Consultant, you will leverage your background in business process outsourcing to deliver exceptional customer service whilst managing multiple client accounts with efficiency and professionalism. This role is crucial to maintaining our reputation as a trusted travel provider and directly contributes to our company's growth and client satisfaction objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences and budget constraints, providing tailored travel recommendations

• Research, compare and book flights, accommodation, tours and other travel services using industry-standard booking systems

• Prepare detailed itineraries and travel documentation including visas, travel insurance and travel advisories

• Process bookings and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures

• Handle client inquiries and concerns with professionalism, responding promptly to emails, calls and messages

• Maintain detailed client records and travel documentation in accordance with company policies

• Stay informed about travel trends, destinations, visa requirements and industry updates to provide current advice

• Collaborate with suppliers, airlines and accommodation providers to secure best rates and services

• Manage multiple clients simultaneously whilst maintaining high standards of service quality

• Meet sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue goals through upselling travel packages and services

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Travel Consultant or in a similar travel-related role

• Demonstrated experience in a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) environment, showcasing ability to handle high-volume client interactions

• Strong proficiency with travel booking systems and Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo

• Excellent knowledge of travel destinations, visa requirements, travel insurance and travel documentation

• Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships

• Strong organisational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple bookings and clients simultaneously

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and travel-related software

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

• Sales-oriented mindset with ability to identify upselling opportunities

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in processing travel documents

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle client concerns diplomatically

• Certification from recognised travel industry bodies or relevant training would be advantageous
