Job summary

SAN MIGUEL INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SERVICES, INC. is looking for an experienced Transport Section Head to lead and optimize all transport operations in General Trias, Cavite.

The role focuses on ensuring efficient scheduling, dispatch, and routing while maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety standards. You will supervise drivers, dispatchers, and logistics coordinators, oversee fleet maintenance, and implement SOPs to improve efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in transport operations, logistics, or fleet management within warehousing, storage, and distribution.
• Proven leadership experience managing transport teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations, road safety requirements and compliance standards relevant to the Philippines.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transport operations and ensure efficient scheduling, routing and dispatch of vehicles to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Manage and supervise transport staff, including drivers, dispatchers and logistics coordinators, ensuring performance standards are consistently met.
• Monitor vehicle fleet maintenance and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all vehicles are in optimal working condition.
• Develop and implement transport policies, procedures and standard operating procedures to optimise efficiency and safety.
• Track and analyse transport costs, fuel consumption and operational metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transport regulations, safety standards and environmental requirements.
• Investigate and resolve transport-related issues, delays and customer complaints promptly.
• Prepare reports on transport performance, vehicle utilisation and operational challenges for senior management.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of transport operations with warehouse and distribution activities.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct regular training programmes for transport personnel to maintain high safety standards.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Transport Section Head to join SAN MIGUEL INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SERVICES, INC. This is a full-time position based in General Trias City, Cavite. As Transport Section Head, you will oversee and manage all transport operations. What we're looking for
