TRANSPORT EXECUTIVE
About the job
What is your role?
The position is accountable in organizing and control of transport operation, to ensure timely, safe, and quality execution of delivery schedule is rendered safely and efficient. He is also responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and availability of fleets in the site.
What will you do?
Daily briefing and debriefing of driver, helper and tanker operator
Bi-weekly facilitate Take 5 & Toolbox meeting
Conduct driver behavior observation on site, on the road and customer site twice a month
Participates in the monthly Site Safety Council Meeting
Randomly check compliance in the site
Ensure monthly performance reviews with the third-party haulers are conducted with minutes of the meeting and actions are agreed and complied.
Attends to Safest Driver’s Awarding once a month
Ensure daily submission of fleet status (rigid truck, prime mover, ISO tank, trailer chassis, semi-trailer/tanker)
Attends and facilitates weekly team huddle in their respective area of responsibilities
Attends to 15 day/s & 30 day/s incident reporting with the regional SHEQ
Attends to daily management meeting with Production and Customer Service.
Attends to permit processing of delivery in and out (applies for PEZA zone sites)
Shopping Cart Creation for 3rd party hauler and other suppliers.
Perform PGR for PO invoices and create PAF for the Non-PO invoices from suppliers.
Monitors billing submission and processing of haulers
What we're looking for?
Preferably bachelor’s degree in Degree in engineering discipline e.g. Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical
Has 3-5 years' experience in dispatch, scheduling and delivery planning in a logistics, compressed gas & engineering industries.
Good ability to apply Distribution concepts and techniques
Demonstrated engineering ability and capability
Preferably with knowledge of logistics processes.
Has knowledge in Safety System, Orientation of company Policies Systems and Procedures, Defensive Driving,
Knowledge on Transport Practices Outside the Philippines, Basic Flowmeter Operation, Basic Tanker Filling Operations (Theory) and Basic finance and accounting courses
