Job Description
The Learning and OD (Organization Development) Officer is responsible for the end-to-end implementation of employee training, talent development, and organization development initiatives across the company. This role focuses on assessing training needs, designing and facilitating learning programs, managing the performance evaluation process, and executing culture-building initiatives. The Officer partners with various business units to enhance workforce capability, drive employee engagement, and support the continuous alignment of human capital with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Needs Analysis & Design: Conduct training needs assessments across departments, design structured learning modules, and curate relevant educational materials or programs.
- Training Delivery & Facilitation: Facilitate onboarding sessions, soft skills training, compliance briefings, and professional development workshops for employees and leaders.
- Performance Management Support: Administer the corporate performance management cycle, track performance evaluation submissions, and assist in compiling data for talent reviews.
- OD & Culture Initiatives: Execute organizational development programs, employee engagement campaigns, team-building events, and workplace culture-building strategies.
- Learning Evaluation & Analytics: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms, tracking key training metrics and generating compliance reports.
Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of instructional design models, adult learning principles, training facilitation techniques, performance management frameworks, and OD methodologies.
- Behavioral Competencies: Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills, high emotional intelligence, strong organizational and project coordination abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
- Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Possesses at least 2–3 years of solid experience handling training facilitation, curriculum design, or organization development functions in a corporate environment.
