Job summary

Access is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Finance professional in the Philippines to manage A&P-related expenses, monitor brand budgets, and provide financial support across commercial, sales, and trade marketing functions.

The role involves tracking budgets, accruals, and timely payments, working with multiple departments, customers, suppliers, and partners, and utilizing SAP and Excel for reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in Commercial Finance or related roles.
• Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or distributor businesses preferred.
• Experience monitoring A&P and promotional budgets.
• Working knowledge of SAP or ERP systems.
• Proficient Excel skills including Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Keep track of A&P related expenses against budget for cash & product support, salary, mass display rental fees, POS materials, trade deal promos, SWS, etc.
• Ensure all A&P expenses are billed/accrued accordingly
• Maintain weekly/monthly monitoring sheets for committed budget versus spend
• Monitor brand budgets including Discounts, Listing Fees and A&Ps
• Update TMs with On trade contracts (Branding, construction, events, incentives, etc)
• Request and monitor status of payments to customers and suppliers
• Reconcile AMP accounts with distributors
• Receive, acknowledge and monitor POS materials
• Handle travel-related tasks including processing of Visa, flight bookings and liaising with travel partners for Business team including PO creation in Finance system (SAP)

About the role

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field
• At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in Commercial Finance, Sales Finance, A&P/Marketing Finance, Trade Marketing, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, or Finance/Accounting
• Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, beverage, retail, or distributor-based businesses is highly preferred
• Experience in monitoring A&P, trade marketing, promotional, or commercial budgets is an advantage
• Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems, particularly purchase order processing, is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and basic financial reporting
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Able to handle confidential financial and commercial information with discretion
