Sany Philippines INC. is seeking a Tower Crane Service Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and service SANY tower cranes and related equipment.
You will ensure safe, efficient operation per manufacturer specs and company standards while coordinating with service engineers and customers. You will respond to service calls on-site, perform diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems, and maintain detailed records.
The Tower Crane Service Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of SANY tower cranes and related equipment. The role ensures that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
The technician will work closely with the Service Engineers, Service Manager, customers, and project teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Perform installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of SANY tower cranes.
Conduct preventive maintenance and routine service inspections based on manufacturer specifications and maintenance schedules.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues.
Inspect tower crane components including motors, gearboxes, brakes, limit switches, electrical systems, wire ropes, hooks, structural components, and safety devices.
Perform equipment testing and commissioning after installation, repair, or maintenance.
Respond to customer service calls and provide on-site technical support.
Identify equipment defects and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Prepare service reports, maintenance records, inspection reports, and other required technical documentation.
Coordinate with Service Engineers regarding complex technical problems and major repairs.
Ensure that all repair and maintenance activities comply with safety procedures and manufacturer standards.
Assist in tower crane erection, dismantling, and relocation when required.
Conduct operational checks and ensure safety devices and protection systems are functioning properly.
Provide basic technical guidance to operators and customers regarding proper equipment operation and maintenance.
Maintain service tools, equipment, and spare parts in good working condition.
Support warranty-related service activities and technical investigations.
Travel to different project sites and customer locations as required.
Perform other service-related duties assigned by management.
Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related technical course.
At least 2–3 years of experience in heavy equipment, tower crane, mobile crane, construction equipment, or industrial machinery servicing.
Experience in tower crane installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair is highly preferred.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Willing to work on-site and travel nationwide.
Willing to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when required by project/service operations.
With a valid driver's license is an advantage.
Physically fit and comfortable working at construction/project sites and at elevated locations.
Good communication, teamwork, and customer-service skills.
