As a Tower Installer/Erector, you are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of METMAST TOWERS and related equipment. This role requires working at heights and performing tasks related to the setup and optimization of communication infrastructure. The Tower Installer ensures that all installations meet safety standards and project specifications while working in various environmental conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Installation:
  • Erect and assemble towers, antennas, and supporting structures according to technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Install and configure antennas, radio equipment, and associated components on towers.
• Maintenance:
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on towers and related equipment.
  • Identify and address issues such as equipment malfunctions or structural damage.
• Repair:
  • Troubleshoot and repair problems with tower structures, antennas, and communication equipment.
  • Replace or repair damaged components as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
• Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall protection systems.
  • Conduct safety briefings and ensure adherence to safety protocols while working at heights.
• Testing and Optimization:
  • Test installed equipment to ensure proper functionality and signal strength.
  • Make adjustments to improve performance and meet project specifications.
• Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of installation activities, maintenance work, and repairs.
  • Prepare and submit reports detailing work performed and any issues encountered.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Provide support and technical guidance to less experienced team members.
• Equipment Handling:
  • Safely handle and transport tools, equipment, and materials necessary for installation and maintenance.
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as a harness or any kind of climbing gear.
• Other task as may be assigned to you

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum Requirements: High School Graduate with 3- 4 Years of work Experience
• Experience: Proven experience in tower installation, maintenance, or a similar role. Experience with climbing and working at heights is essential.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of tower structures, antennas, and communication equipment.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and climbing gear.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Tower Climbing Certification, OSHA Safety Training Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH Training), Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) Safety Certification OR ANY RELATED WORK REGARDS TO HEIGHTS) may be required or preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work at significant heights and in various weather conditions.
• Capability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
• Good physical fitness and manual dexterity.
• Amendable to work Overtime

Working Conditions:

• Work often involves climbing towers and working at elevated heights.
• May require travel to different job sites, sometimes in remote or challenging locations.
• Potential exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme temperatures and adverse weather.
