Qualifications

About the Role

SANY Philippines Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Machinery Technician to join our team in the Manila and Laguna areas. This full-time role is responsible for the proper performance, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy equipment used in construction, mining, and industrial applications.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance, with knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems. Candidates with TESDA Automotive Electrician NC II, Heavy Equipment Servicing NC II, or related technical certification are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, concrete pumps, road machinery, and other construction equipment.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic problems.

• Troubleshoot electrical components including wiring, batteries, starting and charging systems, sensors, relays, and controllers.

• Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and service bulletins.

• Conduct equipment testing after repairs and maintenance.

• Maintain accurate service and repair records.

• Coordinate with Service Engineers, operators, supervisors, and customers regarding equipment concerns.

• Provide field technical support at customer and project sites within Manila, Laguna, and nearby areas.

• Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures.

• Attend technical training and continuously develop knowledge of heavy equipment systems.

What We're Looking For

• 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Heavy Machinery Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician, Equipment Mechanic, Automotive Electrician, or similar position.

• Experience with heavy equipment, construction machinery, concrete pumps, road machinery, mining equipment, or industrial machinery is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.

• TESDA Automotive Electrician NC II, Heavy Equipment Servicing NC II, or related certification is an advantage.

• Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to conduct field work and travel to customer/project sites within Manila, Laguna, and nearby areas.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Strong commitment to safety and proper work procedures.
