Job summary

Teradyne in the Philippines seeks an electronics technician to run full PCBA and system tests, interpret data, and troubleshoot with engineers. You will inspect rework quality, perform packing, and support improvements while adhering to procedures.

Local placement is required. Ideal candidates hold Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics credentials and have hands-on experience with board repair, soldering, and validation for mid- to high-end testers.

Qualifications

• Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates with relevant board repair experience.
• Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, desoldering, and repair.
• Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium/high-end testers is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Follow defined procedures to run full test procedures for Teradyne PCBA and system setup.
• Interpret failure datalog and troubleshoot with technicians, engineers, or supervisors.
• Perform repetitive testing and troubleshooting steps to fix PCBA issues.
• Conduct visual inspection to ensure reassembly quality and freedom from defects.
• Pack and ship boards as required and support process improvements.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to meet department goals.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Opportunity Overview

• Keen attention to details, 100% compliance with PCBA handling procedures, must be physically able to pick up PCBA Assemblies and place inside a system or TBUs.
• Run the full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs and System set-up based on the defined procedure.
• Interpret failure datalog from test programs and follow defined troubleshooting steps to fix the PCBA; work with other Technician, Engineer, or Supervisor for failures that are not yet defined.
• Run a number of defined specific steps to properly fix the PCBA performing repetitive defined testing and troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure units have been reassembled/reworked and free from physical defects.
• Perform packing and shipping of boards.
• Works with other Technicians and Engineers in process and quality improvements, reliability issues as well as meeting department/section goals.
• Comply with company rules, policies, guidelines, and procedures.

All About You

• Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates with relevant experience in board repair
