Job summary

Teradyne Philippines, Ltd. - Cebu is seeking a detail-oriented technician to perform PCBAs repair, testing, and system setup according to defined procedures.

The role involves interpreting test datalog results, collaborating with engineers to fix failures, and ensuring units pass visual and functional checks before packing and shipping. Strong electronics background and computer literacy are required.

Qualifications

• Electronics technology or industrial electronics graduate with relevant board repair experience.
• Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering, and repair.
• Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium/high-end testers is an advantage.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Keen attention to details, 100% compliance with PCBA handling procedures, and ability to physically pick up PCBA Assemblies and place inside a system or TBUs.
• Run the full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs and system set-up based on the defined procedure.
• Interpret failure datalog from test programs and follow troubleshooting steps to fix the PCBA; work with Technicians, Engineers, or Supervisors for unresolved failures.
• Perform defined steps to properly fix the PCBA with repetitive testing and troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure units are reassembled/reworked and free from defects.
• Perform packing and shipping of boards.
• Collaborate with Technicians and Engineers on process and quality improvements and meeting goals.
• Adhere to company rules, policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Opportunity Overview

• Run a number of defined specific steps to properly fix the PCBA performing repetitive defined testing and troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure units have been reassembled/reworked and free from physical defects.
• Perform packing and shipping of boards.
• Works with other Technicians and Engineers in process and quality improvements, reliability issues as well as meeting department/section goals.
• Comply with company rules, policies, guidelines, and procedures.

All About You

• Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates with relevant experience in board repair
• Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering, and repair
• Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium and high-end testers is an advantage
