Job summary

Teradyne Philippines is seeking a Test Technician- Temporary role in Cebu. The position requires precise handling of PCBA assemblies, running defined test procedures, and interpreting datalogs to guide troubleshooting efforts.

Candidates should be electronics graduates with board repair experience, and be able to work with engineers and supervisors on quality improvements. Local candidates only; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Keen attention to details and 100% compliance with PCBA handling procedures.
• Run full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs and system setup per procedures.
• Interpret failure datalog from test programs and troubleshoot with others.
• Perform defined steps to fix PCBA with repetitive testing and troubleshooting.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure reassembly and absence of defects.
• Pack and ship boards as needed.
• Collaborate with Technicians and Engineers on process and quality improvements.
• Comply with company rules, policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Opportunity Overview

• Keen attention to details, 100% compliance with PCBA handling procedures, must be physically able to pick up PCBA Assemblies and place inside a system or TBUs.
• Run the full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs and System set-up based on the defined procedure.
• Interpret failure datalog from test programs and follow defined troubleshooting steps to fix the PCBA; work with other Technician, Engineer, or Supervisor for failures that are not yet defined.
• Run a number of defined specific steps to properly fix the PCBA performing repetitive defined testing and troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure units have been reassembled/reworked and free from physical defects.
• Perform packing and shipping of boards.
• Works with other Technicians and Engineers in process and quality improvements, reliability issues as well as meeting department/section goals.
• Comply with company rules, policies, guidelines, and procedures.

• Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium and high-end testers is an advantage
