Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics degree.

• Familiarity with hardware/software validation and verification for testers is a plus.
• Goal- and results-oriented, flexible and hardworking.
• Proficient with general computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCBA testing and system setup according to defined procedures.
• Interpret failure data and troubleshoot with technicians or engineers.
• Conduct visual inspection to ensure proper reassembly and absence of defects.
• Pack and ship boards as required.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers on process and quality improvements.

Opportunity Overview

• Keen attention to details, 100% compliance with PCBA handling procedures, must be physically able to pick up PCBA Assemblies and place inside a system or TBUs.
• Run the full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs and System set-up based on the defined procedure.
• Interpret failure datalog from test programs and follow defined troubleshooting steps to fix the PCBA; work with other Technician, Engineer, or Supervisor for failures that are not yet defined.
• Run a number of defined specific steps to properly fix the PCBA performing repetitive defined testing and troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure units have been reassembled/reworked and free from physical defects.
• Perform packing and shipping of boards.
• Works with other Technicians and Engineers in process and quality improvements, reliability issues as well as meeting department/section goals.
• Comply with company rules, policies, guidelines, and procedures.
